Emma is the owner and heart behind The HAB, with years of experience within the hair and beauty industry and a genuine passion for making people feel their best.

A qualified hairdresser, educator and hair extension specialist, Emma has a particular love for extensions and is the face behind HAIR By The HAB, the salon’s own professional hair extension range. From creating natural-looking thickness to complete transformations, her focus is always on achieving beautiful results while protecting the client’s natural hair.

More recently, Emma has expanded The HAB into aesthetics, offering a growing range of treatments alongside her work within the salon.

When she isn’t behind the chair, you’ll usually find her somewhere in The HAB — organising, creating, teaching, planning the next idea.

For Emma, The HAB has always been about more than hair and beauty. It’s about creating a friendly, welcoming space where clients can relax, have a laugh and leave feeling that little bit more like themselves.

With over 17 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge, skill and creativity to The HAB team.

A confident all-round stylist, Laura loves everything from precision cutting and beautiful, wearable colours to complete colour transformations and corrections. She has a real eye for creating colours that complement each individual client, whether that’s a subtle refresh, dimensional brunette or something a little more creative.

Laura is also our go-to for bridal and occasion hair, creating everything from soft, effortless styles to beautifully polished up-dos for those extra-special days.

Friendly, experienced and incredibly talented, Laura takes the time to listen to what her clients want and makes sure they leave The HAB feeling fabulous.

Millie is one of The HAB’s talented stylists and a familiar face to many of our lovely clients. Qualified in Level 2 Hairdressing, she has quickly built a loyal clientele and continues to grow in confidence, skill and creativity behind the chair.

She loves all aspects of hairdressing, from colours and cuts to beautifully finished blow dries — and of course, those signature “Millie flicks” that our clients can’t get enough of!

A little bit of a perfectionist (in the best possible way!), Millie takes real pride in her work and pays close attention to every detail, making sure her clients leave feeling happy and confident with their hair.

Millie is a much-loved part of The HAB team.

Meet Maisy, the newest addition to The HAB team and our lovely Junior Stylist.

Maisy is at the beginning of her hairdressing career and is busy developing her skills, gaining hands-on salon experience and learning alongside our experienced team.

You’ll often see Maisy around the salon assisting the stylists, looking after clients and getting involved wherever she can. As her confidence and experience grow, she’ll also be working towards building her own clientele and showcasing more of her work.

We’re really excited to have Maisy as part of The HAB and to watch her grow into the talented stylist we know she can become. Everyone has to start somewhere, and we’re proud to be part of her journey.
